Graduate student researcher in the Human eXtended Intelligence Lab (UCSD Design Lab × Qualcomm Institute), where he develops the AI Living Assistant for the LifeSaver Project: multimodal LLMs that parse sensor, audio, and video data into queryable health signals, plus the project's robotics pipeline. Raj is a serial deep technology entrepreneur and life sciences company builder with more than $100M raised in venture funding and over 50 issued patents. He has founded and led companies that translate frontier research into real-world platforms, from chip-based cancer detection technology at Biological Dynamics to virtual biology at Sigil Biosciences. As Co-Founder and Board Chairman of the Real-World AI Network, Raj brings a founder's perspective on how emerging technologies move from the lab into products, companies, and societal impact. He holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.
Aryan studies Bioinformatics at UC San Diego. He coordinates RAIN's work with student orgs, faculty, accelerators, and university administration across campus. He is building RAIN's BioSci Data Commons, which turns UC San Diego's biology lab data into documented, AI-ready datasets, starting with The Amaro Lab. He also built Raindrop, the network's matching portal. Outside RAIN, he is Founder and CEO of Stēle, which makes an in-ear bio-wearable, the first to ever read both brain and body signals.
